On the verge of visible and invisible and within the aesthetics of discretion, sebastien arrighi observes the landscape that fits into a indefinite continuity of resemblances that keeps a world alive and substitutes itself to the idea of its unity. He explores landscapes in front of his door just as he explores far away lands, where he questions the burst of premature remains, enigmatic figures of our contemporary landscapes.

———–
Whether it’s obvious landscapes or enigmatic scenes, Sébastien Arrighi’s images apprehend reality differently. Thus, the strange corporality that is specific to the mist or streaks of the outdoors, makes up the profound and intimate content of his photographs. Tension and desire result in objects, pieces of landscapes, which thought can sometimes express. It’s about anonymous and opaque relations that occur beyond words, without names. Covered and masked relationships. Just like parallel universes that communicate and eventually mingle together, following geological shifts that would have finally disrupted the order or memory of the times.
